Performance
It is an all analog “modeling” amp much like the Tech 21 Trademark 10. It lets you choose 3 types of amps, i.e. Fender, Marshall, Mesa; 3 types of gain, i.e. clean, hot, high gain. Very simple layout with gain, bass, mids, treble, and level. It sounds great on tape, I have been recording on my computer with it and sounds are easy to dial in. I was looking in the 250-300 dollar range and this amp beat them all. For the sound and the the price you cannot go wrong. I plan on picking up another on and running them in stereo.

The amp has a 10 inch Jensen speaker and I was blown away with the amount of low end. So far I have used it to jam w/friends and to record into Cakewalk. At the jam I was told that the distortion tones were great and very tube like. On tape it gave me the best sound I have ever gotten. I ran a line from the head phones jack and used a Zoom reverb in the effects loop. Great Distortion and great clean sounds all around.

Construction
The amp is very solid. I was looking for a smaller combo and of all that I looked at this had the best build quality. Solid handle, big metal corners, all around great.
