This amp is very simple to handle. Too bad that it doesn’t have a build in chorus.

I used this amp in a jazz band for 5 year now and I am very satisfied about the sound. It has a very dark, warm tone. I am playing a Gibson ES 175. My opinion is that for this work the amp is more than suitable. Sometimes I use a chorus on it and it sounds great, but most of the time I play straight.

It’s a good tube amplifier. LOTS of power and great tone. Years ago I used to thumb my nose at Crate amplifiers. I don’t anymore. A 50 Watt 2x12 combo, or 50 Watt 4x10 combo, is the best all-around setup in my opinion, and I’ve tried practice amps-to-half stacks. Top-mounted controls are practical. If it had a line out on the control panel it would be perfect.

Excuse me while I kiss the sky... (Les Paul Jammin’ Hard!) Tubes make all the difference in the world.

It weighs a ton! It’s my baby and will be treated as such. I LOVE TUBES!!! The only change I’d make would be to add a line out to the control panel.

Fairly simple set up. Plays extremely well, in fact it’s equal to or better than the reviews I read on it prior to buying it.

I love the old Clapton/Marshall sound, but the VC5212 clean channel sold me. It’s absolutely beautiful. Gain: With the proper tweaking it goes from nice and creamy (very CREAM-era Clapton tone) to pretty raunchy. You can also avoid the "buzzy" distortion of most preamps in overdrive with proper tweaking.

I have no complaints. Everything fits well, no rattling or buzzing. Although made of pressed wood, it’s well constructed. I’d prefer hard wood construction, but for the price, I won’t argue.
