  5. Performance

  6. Performance is absolutely top notch. I've owned a lot of amps over the past two years. 1983 JCM 800 2204, Marshall Jubilee 2558 2x12 combo, 1966 Fender pro reverb - just to name a few. This thing puts them all to shame.

  9. Amazing tone. Huge bottom end, thick and crystal clear. I have an American Standard Telecaster with a modded bridge to fit a Custom 5 Seymour Duncan Humbucker. This amp breaks up very nicely with the volume at 3 - 4. After that its really, really loud. I've actually never played it past 4 for very long at all. I've also never heard of anyone breaking up their dual professional so I'm wondering if its been biased this way or modded some how. Either way I love it. Im going to put a demo video of it on YouTube so I can get some feedback on the break up. It's the most solid crunch break up I've ever heard, and I've heard a lot of Marshalls. I recently bought a Rothwell Hellbender and an F1 Booster which make this thing sound just like a 100 watt plexi, it's really amazing actually.

  12. Built like a tank, absolutely solid. Heavy as can be imagined though, but worth every pound.

  5. Performance

  6. Probably the best amp I’ve ever owned. Very straight forward with the knobs very easy to dial in a great tone. Reverb section is wonderful, never had so much control in a tube generated reverb/vibrato unit. Performs as promised (then some). Only complaint would be the weight (about 80lbs). Not a throw in the back of the pickup and head to practice amp but on stage it really cuts through without being overbearing or harsh.

  8. Sound Quality

  9. One of the cleanest sounds out there. As good as Matchless or Kendricks, but with one of the best tremolo (or vibrato if you’re so inclined) that I’ve heard in an off the shelf amp. All the power you will ever need and when impedance is changed such as adding another cabinet produces easily managed tonal qualities that are really a pleasure. The 2 12" vintage 30 Celestons are a great combination.

  11. Construction

  12. About as good construction as I’ve seen. Of course at 80lbs the amp better be made well. Styling is classic Fender and who does’nt like that vintage look. I expect many years of faithful service (It has been going strong for over 3 years now with no problems.)

  6. Great sounding hand built amp. 100 watts, 2x12 celestions. Tube reverb up front like an outboard unit. 2 channel footswitchable. Fat switch for each gives about 3db boost. This is a loud clean amp! Great classic old style Fender sound. This is what you get when you need a big top of the line pro amp.

  7. Performance Rating: 10

  8. Sound Quality

  9. Great clean tone with the best sounding reverb ever. Parallel effect loop, but who ever uses one? This is an amp for the big stage. Got a loud drummer? Give him a blast from this.

  10. Sound Quality Rating: 10

  11. Construction

  12. Built like a tank. Comes with crappy tubes. Try an old 6k6GT in the reverb. BEWARE this amp is HEAVY (76 lbs.) Roadies will love you.
