  5. Performance

  6. Standard controls make this amp easy to operation. Plenty of volume. Delivers great sound. The only weakness is the normal channel. There is nothing wrong with it except that an overdrive channel just sounds better, even if you don’t play much, or any, overdrive. I would rather have two overdrive channels, but I haven’t seen that on but one Fender amp, and it was four times the price.

  9. I had another amp, which I liked until the first time I heard this one in the store. Purists will complain that it is not a tube amp, but I think that complaint is getting less valid as time passes and the solid state amps improve. I compared it to a Fender twin tube amp in the store. I could tell a difference, but that was all. It was different, not, in my opinion, better or worse. I believe if folks played both without knowing which was which, about as many people would choose one as the other. Again, while there is nothing wrong with the normal channel, I don’t care much for them on any amp.

  10. Sound Quality Rating: 10

  11. Construction

  12. Just bought it, so it’s hard to say how tough it is. I haven’t even taken it anywhere except home, yet. However, the construction appears reliable, and it comes with rollers, which is a big plus.
