I played many amps before I took the leap into the amp modeling world. This is a sensational amp that is easy to use and amend presets on the fly. It also allows complete control over all aspects of the parameters within the amp which makes this an awesome tool if not a little mind blowing. It delivers 250 stereo watts at 4 ohms. The sounds that can be created with this amp aside from the regular vintage sounds really have to be heard to be believed.

The sounds that can be created and shaped with this amp are nothing short of amazing. I A/B’d this amp with a Lane and my old Marshall with stomp boxes setup. I lasted about 20 minutes before I turned the other things off and just played through the Johnson JM250H. These amps are fantastic however I will give it 9 because I still have a soft spot for pure valve power. Which reminds me that the Johnson Millennium range actually use 12ax7’s in the preamp stage to give that valve flavour. It is no gimmick, they actually DO make a difference.

I play live at least once a week as well as studio work. I have owned this amp for 18 months and it has not missed a beat. Like any electronic gear, you have to treat it gently.. ie. if you drop these things you’re asking for trouble, so be careful. Solid construction but still handle with care!
