  4. WOW! Awesome! Just awesome. It’s got simulations of Mesas, Marshalls, Fenders and a lot more, great effects! And I mean great! It comes built with a Line 6 POD and it’s 10x better than my Boss effects processor.

  5. Performance Rating: 10

  7. Incredible heavy metal sound and soft, soft clean stuff. Best example is to Live is to die from Metallica, it works great clean/with chorus/reverb to heavy with no mids.

  10. Yo, I don’t know how this thing is built, but I banged it against my desk like 20,0000,0000,00000 times, not a scuff! With my old Kustom KLA40 I used to drop it with reverb on, it made this kinda wierd clinging sound. With this, you drop it, not a sound from it, you have more effects and effect tweaks that you will ever need. Hey, if ya want, you could freestyle with this thing.

  4. This digital modeling amp sounds surprisingly realistic, especially considering its price. Although there are some slight tonal differences between the software-created models and the real amps, for the money and versatility, this thing kicks. Amp models include Fenders, Marshalls, Vox, Matchless, Mesa, Soldano, and more. Bonuses include a direct out with cab simulation and the ability to save favorite amp settings to recall later.

  5. Performance Rating: 10

  6. Sound Quality

  7. The amp sounds great. Although I prefer the clean tone of my Fender Hot Rod 410 over the 1960 Bassman model in the Flextone, the versatality of the Flextone means that it’s basically the only amp I really use — I just play my Fenders in my bedroom when I’m messing around.

  8. Sound Quality Rating: 8

  10. I haven’t had any problems with the amp. The power switch is a small plastic push-button instead of a rocker or toggle, and at first I thought it would break soon. It hasn’t though, so I guess it’s ok. The amp is very light because it doesn’t have a tube power section, and the chassis and top panel are pretty sturdy.
