Well for 99.00 this amp is totally cool. 15 watts through an 8“ bulldog speaker. It has Volume, Gain, Boost, Treble, Bass, and even tremolo with speed and depth. It also has a line out for an 8 ohm extension speaker, headphone jack, and footswitch input, oh yeah and a line out for recording. It is small so it doesn’t weigh much and is great for bedroom playing. It’s great. Not to mention it also has that classic Vox look! I kinda wish it had either two channels or just clean channel. Because it can sometimes be hard to get a real nice clean sound out of it. If I want to dirty or crunch it up I’ll get a pedal. It would also be nice for a mid control.

Sound Quality
Well it does sound pretty good, it totally smokes some other amps in this range, I’ve heard it really rocks through an extension cab. The pups in my guitar are probably not top notch, so it may change the sound a bit. I don’t really like the distortion that much, it can get a little too shrill when turned way up. You can get a pretty clean sound out of it but not really that sparkling Fender clean. Where this amp really shines is when the distortion is at about half or a little lower. You can get a great blues sound out of it can be pretty good and clean and go to a little more bite, while still maintaining clarity. Sometimes the highs can be a little much with the distortion kicked way up, but who plays with the distortion constantly maxed anyway? With the distortion cranked it kinda takes away from the playing. Sometimes it can get a little muddy when playing but most of the time it sound cool, like I said though my pups aren’t the best. The Tremolo is cool although not incredibly fast or deep it’s still cool, I think reverb may have been a little more useful though. So in short for playing blues and classic rock, this amp is sweet.

Well it seems petty sturdy, looks nice anyway. I’m sure it’s made of particle board and I haven’t opened it up to look at it but it hasn’t failed me in six months. I don’t gig so I’m not sure about its worthiness there. I’ll say that this is a nice amp, and for the price it is a great buy, way better than some ss stuff.
