I waited patiently for 17 days (the pedal was back ordered at Musician’s Friend). Finally it arrived. My own Bixonic Expandora II. I carefully unpackaged it, placed a 9v battery in the compartment (the battery was included), plugged my guitar into the pedal and applied power to my amp. I began to play Freddie King riffs and Billy Gibbons riffs and realized that this pedal SUCKED. No tone control (even though there is a knob labeled “TONE”.) It just sounded like a huge mud hole.

The pedal itself is very noisy. Even when connecting a set of headphones to the “OUT” jack.

Construction

The pedal is actually built like a brick house. My guess is that Bixonic built the thing solid enough so that when you actually play it for the first time and realize you just got ripped off for $189.00 and throw it against the wall, the pedal won’t break. This way you can put it on eBay and hopefully get $100.00 for it!
