  6. Works great, easy to use. Plug in a power supply, and your FX loop and it’s good to go. Two knobs, chill and speed (I think) are very self explanatory and give a very large range of sounds. Oh yeah thumbs up to Dano for a stomp box switch that you don’t actually have to stomp. But could you make it bigger next time? It’s hard to hit sometimes in the heat of the moment.

  9. Sweetness. This makes a world of difference for your clean channel and you can even get some interesting distorted sounds out of it. (Try some Randy Rhoads Tribute tunes). It’s absolutely crystal clear and has a very good bypass mode (although you do get some very light chorus sound for a few seconds after you switch it off.)

  12. I’d give it a 10 but it chose to not work during my debut live performance tonight, so I unplugged the effects loop and went straight through the Marshall. Fortunately I had the wah on a different circuit (that’s what really counts right??) and we didn’t play anything in need of chorus. My delay pedal is however on my effects loop so I didn’t get to use that. Bummer. However, for as much as I move my rig around and as much abuse as the chorus takes, it has held up thus far. The cast steel case makes it feel very substantial, like you could fend off muggers with it. I guess the only weakness is that it uses two printed circuit boards inside connected with a cheap snap connector and I think this either gets worn out or corroded over time and that’s what caused my trouble tonight.

  6. It has two knobs and an on and off switch. You have to be pretty dumb not to be able to work this thing on the first day. One thing I love about Danelectro effects is that they are really easy to switch on and off — a light tap or press on the switch, instead of a pound crush on a Boss or Ibanez stomp box.

  9. The sound is wonderful on this thing. If you have the exact same setup and use it and switch to the Boss one, there’s no comparison. Boss sux compared to this. And when it’s off or on, it adds no extra noise. Because it’s vintage baby!

  12. It’s all metal so it’s not gonna break, plus a lifetime warranty for all the worry warts! But, he he, there’s always a but — it takes two 9 volt batteries which won’t last but a day or two. So go spend the extra $10 to get an AC adapter, and this thing will rock all day!

  6. Hey, there are two knobs, speed and chill (depth), plus an on/off switch. If it were any easier, it would play the guitar for you.

  9. Whoo baby. I like my chorus the same way I like my chocolate milk, thick and creamy. This thing delivers a wide variety of chorus. My favorite sounds out of this are a vintage watery type chorus, and a straight thick chorus. Sounds great with fuzz distortion, great for soloing when combined with wah-wah, and echo if you want to go a little psychedelic. This is becoming popular because it’s the best chorus around for the price range, and I’d take it over some generic sounding Boss pedal any day. Yeah baby!

  12. Thick, thick metal. I have had absolutely no problems with this, and by the way, it generates no noise at all. If you find yourself in a riot, it would double as a very effective blunt weapon. It takes two 9-volt batteries, however, and they get sucked dry in no time flat. Danelectro makes an 18-volt adapter for it, I suggest you buy it.
