The RP100 itself is okay, but it does need some different patches than it has. It is very simple to use, with just 2 pedals. It promises enough but it could be better.

I think the RP100 is amazing! It’s definitely the spring board for many new things to come. It’s quite easy to use, but it is slightly annoying to get from one patch to another.

THE SOUNDS ARE AMAZINGLY CONVINCING! The “tweed” patch sounds almost the same as some of my old Fender amps. I was really intrigued by the acoustic setting.

It has everything I need to play a whole concert. The delay, chorus, and acoustic simulators are very good. The only thing I didn’t like is the fact that you have to move fast when you are trying to get different sounds in one performance.

Performance
This is the first fx/ pre amp I’ve owned. I think it works brilliantly, sounds very good. It can be a bit hard to play because the patches are in linear order. Some more patches would be good.

Sound Quality
The fx sound pretty good, but not equivalent to, say, BOSS. But what do you expect for the price? The amp simulations are very good especially the Marshall JCM 900. The rectifier is a bit bass heavy but the rest sound awesome and quite authentic.

Construction
I use my RP-100 every day. It is very tough. I have stomped pretty hard on it but the metal casing is like new. The three parameter knobs are becoming a bit loose, but I don’t use them much as I’ve programmed in all the patches I need.
