It works really well for me. I use it to play a lot of songs that need some more cream to them, like “One” from Metallica. I put the first two knobs a little past half and the last two all the way and I’m set.

It sounds really good through my amp. I have a Crate full stack and I would recomend this if you want to add that cream to your sound.

Made of metal, except the switch is plastic. Other than that, it’s great.

Like any other pedal, it just clicks on and off so there won’t be too much of a performance problem.

I have a Peavy Classic Chorus 130 amp and the other guy said the FX64 is choppy? Ha, my amp can make unrecognizably choppy sounds, the FX64 is smooth as far as I’m concerned. I don’t use it much though, cause I’m a synthesizer guy, and when I play guitar I’m a metal guy, but yes I find this to be a very useful pedal.

I don’t like DOD’s cheap plastic parts, gimme a Boss for its construction any day, not saying DOD isn’t sturdy, but the plastic in it just feels thin and crappy to me.

Pretty easy to use, except the speed and depth knobs are a little too sensitive. Barely tweak it, and you can get a very different sound, but I guess that could be good depending on how extreme or subtle you want to go. Easy to switch on and off.

Not as great as they made it sound. I was hoping for a very lush chorus, but it wasn’t as much as I had hoped for. When the knobs are set to certain positions you can’t even tell if the pedals on, or if your amp is just playing clean. When you turn the speed up, you get this vibrato sound, a little to “choppy” for my liking. But when you find the settings you like it sounds pretty good.

The casing is made out of metal so it’ll stand up to some heavy abuse. Although the switch is plastic, it’s still tough enough, if you end up breaking it, it’s because you’re and idiot!
