I have never been more impressed by a more well designed hunk of electronics. The learning curve is minimal. I used to have a Morley Steve Vai signature and that was a pain as there was about a half second delay when you turned it on where it cut out your sound. This model only has one control, and that’s the pedal itself. Push the crybaby down, it turns on. Add string bends, hammer-ons, pull-offs, and a dash of finger-tapping. Serves one packed stadium.

Has a very impressive wah tone with a wide range of sweep. Very easy to find your sound.

What can I say, it’s a tank. It has never let me down and I abuse it every chance I get. This thing has a heavy steel case, and a great steel with rubberized coating pedal. I had that Morley wah for about six months and I threw the thing out because it would only work at certain high tides, or if you did a rain dance beforehand. The Dunlop is absolutely bulletproof (I shoot mine every now and then just to be sure.) Go buy one, it’s worth twice what you pay!

This baby works nice!! It’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a wah. Strong, sturdy construction, and killer sound. But, I did find the on/off switch a little tricky at first.

Sounds absolutely great. A Q-switch feature would be nice for the price, but all in all, it works really well.

I always wanted a wah. And, when I got $150 worth of gift certs for my local music store for Christmas, I went out and picked one of these babys up. I had SO much fun with it at the start, but the on/off switch broke. I don’t know if my “technique” was too strong, but it broke nonetheless. So, I went out (it was still under warranty) and got it replaced. And then I broke the second one. After that, it has been sitting here in my room collecting dust. The unit is housed in a heavy metal case, and the insides still work fine, I just can’t turn the dang thing off anymore!

I fell in love the first day I got it. It should have came with an AC adapter though. Very easy to use. I had never owned or used a Wah Wah before and in 5 minutes after I brought this pedal home I was Wah-ing away. The on/off switch was a pain at first but you get the hang of it. It’s still a little hard to turn it off and on though which would make it difficult for live performances.

Awesome. Reminds me of Joe Satriani and Jimi Hendrix which is exactly what I was looking for in a Wah Wah. Sounds great through my Line6 POD. It sounds best with clean or in-between type tones. With heavy distortion even though it sounds great it tends to loose its range.

This pedal rocks. It’s really easy to use. You just step on it to turn it on, then play and rock it back and forth however you think sounds good. It’s kinda hard to turn back off though if you’re in a lead and need to get back to the normal thing real fast. You really gotta step on it hard.

I usually use lots of distortion and stuff, and that kinda narrows the range of the wah, so instead of a gradual wah thing as you rock forward, you get a more sudden one. But it sounds rad when you play it clean. Real funky. And if you leave it like halfway down, you get a super wicked feedback overtone on the low/mid frequencies.

It’s made of lots of metal. I dropped it on my way out of the store the first day I got it and it didn’t even dent and played fine. The batteries last a long time too. But still, you might want to invest in the adaptor for it because 9v batteries are pretty expensive.

The Cry Baby is easy to use but a little difficult to play. You have to experiment with a song and figure out how to rock the pedal to the beat if you want it to sound good. Nice wah sound.

Nice sound but at loud volumes the high pitch can get real annoying, but that is what it is supposed to do. A down to the original is the fact that it picks up radio stations. It is not good to get some cheesy country station in the middle of a punk rock gig.
