Great sounding pedal but very noisy making it virtually unusable in a professional setting.

Actually one of the best sounding pedals I've used.

This works well. It is a digital, programmable overdrive pedal. It has two channels that you can program and switch between. Very easy to program. I set one channel for a clean/gritty boost and the other for a bit more over the top harmonic poppin’ tone. I usually use three overdrive pedals for different sounds. First in line is a Vox Valve Tone. Then the Korg. Then a Real Tube overdrive. The Vox is my Blues Tone. The Korg is for the next steps up — just a slight bit more — the real tube is the scorcher. Of course, some times I set them up different, but all in all, they work great together.

Sounds very good. A big surprise as I had already made up my mind to dislike digital distortion. This sounds very analog. It also has a boost switch that will put a bit more UUUMMPH in the tone. Coupled with the volume, gain, tone and contour, it is quite easy to dial in everything from a slight grind to out and out total destruction. Again, I do not believe the metal heads would go for it, but it almost has enough gain on tap to compete. Almost!! Sounds equally at home with single coils & hummers. It has a switch by the input marked low & hi for matching to your pickups — pretty cool. It also has a switch for going into the amp or into a board. So you can get a decent sound going direct into the board. A very handy feature I must say. I thinks these were like $190.00 new! I picked it up second hand (looks like it was never played) for $40.00. I really did not need it, but I could not pass it up for the price.

Not as sturdy as some pedals out there, but if you take care of it, it should last a loooooong time. So far, it has worked every time I’ve plugged it in. A breeze to program.
