This wah-wah kicks more butt than Mr. T on an all out ‘roid rage. I’ve had it for 7 months without a problem, and so far have gone through two 9 volt batteries (still using the second one). This wah delivers. There are three tone selections, White Room (bassy), Voodoo (midrange Hendrix- like), and Shaft (trebbly 70’s pimp music). There is also a switch called the Twinductor Beef Boost, which is supposed to be like playing though two wahs together. Really thickens up the wah. Also there is a testosterone/ estrogen setting, which basically goes from a little gainy to clean, respectively. Also has a volume knob. I pretty much stick with one setting, because it fills all my wah needs. I use the Voodoo setting with the Twinductor on and the hormone control set to estrogen. Works for blazing, wailing solos (combined with distortion, of course), as well as for that funky 70’s porno music.

Oh yeah! If a wah wah can sound better, I have yet to hear it. As far as I’m concerned, this is the final word in wah, unless Snarling Dogs comes out with something better, which I can’t imagine happening because this thing is, as they say, da bomb. Random thought, I wish someone would come up with a delay pedal with a footrocker that controlled the delay time. You could make some pretty cool freaky noises with that. I just say that because I think Snarling Dogs should do it, they’re just crazy enough to try.

Get right out of town. This thing is indestructable, more durable than even a Danelectro pedal. That’s saying a lot. I think the pot’s rated for like 10,000 cycles. If dropped from the Empire State Building, this would make a crater, but don’t plan on throwing it out, it will still work perfectly. Rest in peace, Charlie Springer.
