This is a replica of a Gibson 50’s Patent Applied For humbucking pick-up. This pick-up reproduces the smooth mid-range sound associated with the originals. DiMarzio reproduces the tone comparable to Les Pauls I have played, with the added zing associated with DiMarzios. These can do about anything from playing a smooth jazz to a biting hard rock, good for probably anything unless you prefer modern sounding pickups. Provides exceptional definition in high gain situation.

DiMarzio built a reputation on great equipment, has produced quality hardware for years, and has not let me down on my purchase. The high quality shielding they used was pretty difficult to strip when installing.
